Auto tranny problem.

I'm trying to diagnose a problem I might have created, with an auto I'm trying to get running right. I did almost half of the vacuum hoses on it, it runs fine and I fixed its previous boost issue of the secondary not coming online. But now there is a new problem. I am getting a auto transmission code. I'm not familiar with auto RX7s and wondering what the problem is.

I have another post on here about it but I felt I needed to start a thread to figure out this specific problem. So, it idles at 2000 in neutral but once in gear in evens out to normal. Then in 1st it shifts at 4500 to 2nd and pulls fine from there. What could this be?

The hold button is flashing, so I know there is a problem. Any areas I could start diagnosing it at?

if the hold light flashes the automatic tranny ecu has codes. To check them.Look underneath the hood and open up the diagnostic box.Iside the lid theres a small diagram.Use a jumperwire and connect the slots marked gnd+ ground and a/t whic is the tranny ecu.Count the amount of times the hold light flashes.Long flashes are 10 per and quick flashes are 1.A long pause means theres no other codes or another code.

Thanks, I figured out what the problem is. I accidentally pulled the wires out of the white electrical conector when I took the UIM off. I got them crossed when I put it back together.

You are partially right. You can literaly cross the wires from there origninal postion in the connector but I'm not sure that it causes any problem. The problem was that they ripped out completely again, so I was running without it hooked up. On top of that I forgot to plug in the TPS. I know, I'm really stupid but I had alot of lines and wires on my mind and I haven't messed with a twin set-up in a while.

So...after getting the connector fixed and pluging in the TPS it ran great. Boosted 10.5psi primary and 10 secondary. Before I got to it, it had been running 6psi primary and 2psi secondary.
