Are auto and manual ignition switches the same?

I purchased a 93 FD shell last year for dirt cheap but the car is automatic with all the automatic wiring. I am converting to manual of course. Anyway, the car is missing a few pieces like the ignition switch. Will a manual ignition switch work with the automatic harness or do I need to just get an automatic?

Any help is appreciated!

Ignition switch is the same. $95.00 roughly new for OEM.

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure the manual switch and that entire assembly would work with the auto harness.
