Angry Auto FD tranny or convertor problems PLEASE HELP

Well i was drivin my car this evening, and floored it in first let it hang in high rpms and i noticed the RPM's to flutter, it just seems laggy and not as responsive... how can i tell if the convertor is goin out... and please dont tell me to do a conversion.... that will be next on the list i just want to get this working for right now... and if it means replacing the convertor then fine.....

Sure its not a boost or ignition problem?

Maybe you've got the early stages of converter death, but I think you would notice that your RPMs would build fine but your speed wouldn't - due to the thing slipping on ya.

Might be ignition... i swear my coils are bad... stumbling idle... a lot of carbon on tail pipe.... and good compression
