Just put in the 86 Turbo II filler neck on my 3rd Gen today to eliminate the ast. I noticed the stock AST has build in internal baffle, and I can't blow through the AST with my mouth.

This gets me thinking, for people that has the metal AST (i.e Pettit's, etc.) they do not mimick the stock baffle, so while the idea is there having a metal AST, I highly feel it's no difference than adding in the 86 FC filler neck because it would just mean that your fillter neck is now your AST replacement.
