ARRG!! this door harness is pi55ing me off
ok, so about 3 months ago my driver's side power window stopped working once in awhile.
anyways i found out when i push or sqeeze the rubber hose that attaches to the door to body that it works.
so its not the motor or my window switch and it is a faulty harness. i didnt want to bother testing all the wires so i got a used harness from a member of the forum.
took me a few hours to take the old one out and put in the new one, came to some snags like the new one is missing 2 leads for the bose assuming the new harness is off a base/r1.
heres the bad news, at first before i put everything together, my power windows worked with the new harness. Then today it did'nt work and its the same problem, it will only work when i push or squeeze the rubber hose.
i tried cleaning the connectors and the pins and still no luck.
please someone help, it sucks going through a drive-though and opening your door because the windows don't work, plus summers comming and i need to have the windows down.

Sounds like you have a loose connection at the connector. It is probably not the door harness, but actually where the door harness plugs in. See if there is any of the pins or holes that appear loose or spread.
Try that first.
