ArgH! Someone with a FP Gauge tell me

Please tell me what you are seeing with Fuel Pressure.

I either have a faulty gauge (new though) or something else is wrong.

I took out the FPR I bought (Weldon 2040) and put back stock and the same thing is still happening (shifted 0.75 kg/cm2)...which is 2.0 kg/cms normal crusing, and 4.25 or about on any accelration.

Is this right? It doesn't seem so. My car was just substantially rebuilt. Fuel changes are 1300cc secondaries, Cosi Fuel Pump, and had been the 2040 regulator (with that I got 2.75 normal, and 5 kg/cm2 with acceleration).

I'll have the gauge checked Monday but I really want to know what is typical and/or desired on an FD. By the way, I don't have to be boosting to see the increase, any subtle acceleration does it.

That is NOT normal. I have heard of people NOT having their fuel pressur raise up and they get scared, but that much fuel w/o boost...that's dumping just a little bit too much fuel with no boost...

Good luck with her. It just might be the gauge. What type of gauge is it?
