For those that have this intake kit; couple questions.

Did you retain/use the factory, rubber liner/coupler on the factory turbo inlet hoses? I found it difficult to make the filter adaptors fit in with those still attached to the inlet hoses.

Also; which hose does the small, metal restrictor go into? Or do I even really need it? My instructions are in Japanese and it's hard to tell from the picture provided.
