Apexi Power FC - some basic questions , Pros and Cons?

It seems that nearly everybody is running the Apexi Power FC.

To preface this thread, I searched for "power fc" and "pfc" and damn near every thread ever created pops up. I also looked for a sticky offering general information on the Power FC pros and cons.

What are the benefits to running a power fc on a stock or nearly stock car?

What are the potential problems of running a power fc vs. the stock ecu. Is there anything the stock ECU is good for or better at over the power FC?

Can the power FC be used as a boost controller to keep it around 10-11?

My car is reliable as is with an HKS dp, RB catback, K&N drop in filter, and AEM water injection. I do not want to raise the boost past 11, prefer to keep it at 10.
I do have boost and water temp gauges but i understand that the commander gives more information.

I would appreciate any advice or information that somebody considering a Power FC should know before making a decision.
