APEX'i N1 vs Blitz NUR Spec

APEX'i N1 vs Blitz NUR Spec

All those who have supported opinions on one/both of these exhausts, please share them with me. I just skimmed through the exhaust shoot out in the latest edition of Turbo Mag the other day and the Blitz came in louder and lighter (just a little) than the N1, but when it came to power, the N1 had it by several points when tested on the Celica. I'm still having trouble deciding and when it comes to what I'm getting in the package, the N1 is starting to have a little more persuasive appeal than the Blitz. Ok everyone, go at it!

Well, since you are asking in between the above two, i don't think the JIC or the titanium exhaust were in your original comparison.

The blitz is a very good bang for the buck/ it's full stainless and fits great. The apexi is going to be a bit louder and should give you more power. I believe it has bigger piping etc. If both were the same price, i'd get the apex. But the blitz has the apexi buy a good 100 bucks or more.

get the damn Blitz then. Apexi makes the worst sounding exhausts IMO

Thanks for some helpful advice. If I was looking for the best of them all, I'd be looking at all the titanium systems. Maybe I should have included the JIC Magic system, but I was looking for something with a silencer option and something that didn't have the too big GT size piping. I'm not going to be running up my boost for a while and I don't think I'll need piping that big for a while. The N1 has the big can with 3.00 inch piping. Everything else above that has almost 4 inches. The Blitz does have the N1 by $100 with the silencer in the package. Does anybody out there have any experience with either of these exhausts on their cars. Either the Blitz NUR Spec or the A'PEXi N1. It'll help if we can keep from going off topic. If the Blitz has good sound that can hold the best of both loud and mellow, then I'll go with that, but if its worth trying to stay with a silencer to keep the next block cops from hearing me roll by at night, then I'm stuck in a dilema. Are the tips the same size on these exhausts? Will the N1 silencer work if I drill a hole in the Biltz or is there another option? Thanks for your help in this guys. Confusion is annoying to listen to, but I don't wanna throw $400-$500 at something I'm not sure about.

from what i've read here, and not personal experience, the N1 tends to be the louder of the two. In both cases, you'll want to run a silencer espeicaly if you have a midpipe in there. I've ehard both exhausts and i'd have to say the apexi sounds better than the blitz. The blitz just doesnt' sound very um...refined...is the word.

FYI, a silencer doesn't come with the N1 but it does come with the GT Spec, APex-I

Yeah, ok. Thanks, RX7Elmo. That's the answer I've been waiting for. I'm glad I've found someone who's heard them both. I'll be running stock parts for the precat and cat for a while until I go to a high flow cat and dp, but I don't plan to do that for a long time. I know the N1 doesn't come with a silencer and I was planning on buying that extra. The only thing about the GT Spec is that, sure it comes with a the silencer but, its still another $100 over the N1+silencer price and that's getting close to $600 if not more for shipping. At least the N1 is under $500 with shipping included. I'm glad to hear that the A'PEXi sounds good. I think I'll go with that. Thanks a ton.....relieved now.

I have the Blitz exhaust, I like it a lot. Its not too loud under about 3500. But when you do open it up it gets quite loud, but a really nice sound not riceish. For the $ I think its definetly one of the best.

Do you mean it has a good sound with the DP ad MP combo, or just by itself it sounds good. I imagine the exhaust will easily make a good mean sound with both catalytic converters gone.

Yeah, well, thanks again guys. I hope no one took these threads as insults towards their personal favorite exhausts or anything. Maybe one day I'll be looking for a JIC or a full Titanium race pipe. I think I'm gonna go with the A'PEXi N1 for now. I'll let you know how it works out.
Thanks Everyone
