I need some help... I just installed an apexi intake system and I’m get a weird sound from one of the air cleaners, if anyone has any advice or the same system please respond ... Thanks

 

Usually when you add an open intake, you'll hear your engine a lot more as you go higher in the RPM's.

I'm guessing that's what you are hearing.

 

It's actually the air pump that makes that sound. You will notice it mostly below 3000RPM when the Airpump is kicked on. I kind of like it. Sounds a little growly. I still have the stock exhaust, so I get t pretend that I have a little monster under the hood when I get a load on the air pump. I imagen that people with a high flow exhaust don't really hear it over the exhaust sound.
