Apexi Intake fitment issues

I have an Apexi FMIC with a Koyo and I am trying to figure how to fit the Apexi Intakes. There is not much room to work with, I would think the HKS would be much easier to fit. Can anyone provide pics if they have this similar setup. I also removed the air pump only but how do I cover the 2 pipes that went to the air pump. Any info or pics I tried searching already.

Did you buy the Apexi FMIC itself only...new or used? It should come with specially-designed intakes (short and closer to firewall) to accommodate the FMIC. Don't know your details but sounds like you have the regular Apexi intakes (extends closer to front bumper)? Not sure if I've seen the FMIC-specific intakes for sell individually?

I think it was stupid of me to buy the intake kit as it doesn't fit at all. I will be making custom pipes and connectors for the airfilters very soon, making them take up much less room and get better airflow.

What I had to do with the current install was to cut the original plastic tubes to make them fit the available space. The sound they make is incredible, I love it. I can even hear the turbos spinning up!

Thanks CareBear that is the picture I was looking for. I thought about cutting the pipes but didnt know if they will fit. Another thing is that I have an Apexi BOV and it is pretty big but I will figure it out hopefully

13BNUT, just make sure you don't cut too much, and you won't get it perfect, but it'll work
