Lightbulb Apexi gt too big?

I Was looking at exhaust and i saw the apexi GT. I was liking what people were saying about it until i read 3.75 inches. Holy $h** thats pretty big. Some people say it will kill spool up times. I just wanna know if u guys think 3.75 inches is too big for road racing purposes.

I have it. Love it. I don't think the change in spool up time will be overly noticeable. Some people do have an issue with the noise level buy I like it all around

It's definitely loud, but if that's not a concern I'd go for it. I've had mine almost 2 years and never gotten pulled over for it, even with a midpipe on. Just don't romp on it all the time in town and you should be ok.

a larger free flowing exhaust will reduce backpressure and spoolup time. I love my get spec but goddamn its loud. the n1 has the same size piping but isnt stainless.

its closer to 4 inches in anycase, you can tune it to reduce any torque loss if there is any. if you have the stock twins and they are working, i doubt you will feel any, infact you should see an increase in boost pressure (turn it down if your not tuning for it!).

good luck

I thought the GT-spec had larger piping. I guess I could be wrong.
