Apex'i FMIC and hard pipes w/ redneck filters...

I'm attempting to install some new intake pipes since the ones that I have currently are giving me some worries... I am switching from apex'i power intake to some polished intake pipes... My question is... I attempted to install the lower pipe tonight and what I ran into is since the pipe points the filter into the area where the bracket is that say the stock air-box mounts to on the pass frame... since I have the FMIC, condenser, and Koyo mounted like this /_| I'm having trouble keeping the filter on the pipe since it is wanting to bump the tubing for the turbo air entering the FMIC... I'm thinking about adding a can ring to the coupler to extend the tubing to make it work... anyone else ran into this and have a solution?
TIA,
Ryker
