Apexi air filter w/ PFS SMIC...will they fit ?

Just wanted to toss my PFS cold air box and see if the APEXI will reduce my air intake temps. The Apexi looks as if it wont fit with my PFS SMIC, its the regular one not the larger race intercooler It looks as if the Apexi angles in to the left side , could be a fit issue. Any one have this combo ?

Looks sweet! Full size battery, IC fits, and APEXi intake fits. Sounds like I'm getting this IC when the time comes.

It was kind of a pain in the *** to get the filters just right but it does work. I would highly recommend the pfs IC fit is awesome, and I can't wait for the weather to cool off so I can really see the temp differences. The pic is right after I installed the IC so the vac line is just sitting there. I also got my UIM pollished to match the rest of the piping.

I think the APEXI might raise your temps, not lower them b/c they take more hot air in from the engine bay than a CAI would. If you do decide to go with the APEXI intakes let us know if they helped at all. I have the APEXI intakes with CCII SMIC and I was thinking of switching to a CAI to reduce my fairly high temps durring the summer. Since your thinking of doing the opposite, I would really like to know how it turns out.

thats what I was worried about, the fit looks tight against the intercooler. The idea I was looking at was to block off the section between the SMIC and the filters so I could draw air from underneath.I have seen a few rigged like this but never one with the APEXI filters
