Apex Seals 2mm or 3mm and WHY?

Would like to know what you chose to use when rebuilding your 13B and why?

2mm works just as good as long as you aren't doing some record breaking tuning. Supposedly 3mm's can take more abuse but either way, detonation is what leads to their failure. Detonation comes from poor tuning, and detonation means it's time for a new motor. The way the apex seals absorb so much impact from detonation, I really can't see any reason as to why 3mm's would outlast them by much if at all.

I would say 3mm. If you have the money why not?

Just one more security factor in an already unsecure engine.
