Apex power fc ques.....
I want to buy the apex power fc for my FD. However my FD is a japanese edition 1995 right hand. Does this mean that I will have to purchase it from Japan or all the power fc's work irrespective of right hand/left hand or which edition. Also what modifications you can do with the power fc without gettin it tuned?

You should be fine. I believe that all PFC's are the same, with different revisions and such.
You may get more info from the PFC section.
Depending on what maps you get with you PFC, you should be good for all the boltons.
Or, it may just work with intake and catback.

That means you have to tell them what modifications u have so that they send it pretuned for those modifications? isnt there a set standard like power fc comes factory tuned for cat back, intake, downpipe etc.? also can u play wid the numbers if u have a commander?

I'd check with the creators of the Datalogit, since they are probably the best equiped to answer the question outside of Apexi. http://www.fc-datalogit.co.nz/

Its like a playstation, makes for killer graphics. lol
Better resolution, more load points, etc..
To put it in perspective, the stock ecu on US FD's is 8 Bit, while the newer ones are 16 bit. Thats why they run a lil smoother from just a swap, or a swap to a PFC.
Haltechs are 16 Bit
PFC 16 Bit
Aem 16 Bit
Motec 32 Bit

96-99......16bit
99-current.....32bit
As for the PFC they did make an 8 bit computer. It just isnt heard of much since they only made it for 2 years and no one even used PFCs back then... Its around though..
