Apex filter + m2 Med IC fitment

Right now I have the dual Apex'i air filters, and I plan on buying the m2 medium SMIC in the near future, however I was looking at it and the top filter is already almost touching the stock IC. Has anybody had any experience with these 2 products?

You can make them fit, but expect to put a some extra effort into it.

get a smaller battery and tray (51R with turbojeff tray) and you can more the ic farther to the driver's side. I tried installing the apexi with a large m2 but the ic is so large i couldn't figure out a way of doing it so I went with the m2 intake
