Hey i went to rx7store.net and was checking out the exhuast and for some reason under the apexi gt for some reason it talks about the N1, it says the N1 is 8 in loudness from a 1-8 scale btu then when i go udner the N1 system it says its 6 in loudness but if i go to the dual it goes back to 8. Can some1 clear this up for me a little. thnx

 

as far as u know the dual is an 8 out of 10 in loudness the single is a 6 and with the silencer it is a 4.

 

That is so arbitrary, what I'd like to see is a consitant test comparing the exhausts in the same test, on the same day, under the same conditions. If you are going to try to rate a product scientifically, an 'out of 10' scale isn't the way to do it. I know there is a thread about actual dB readings, but the methods vary. Your best bet is to post on your local section, find someone with the exhaust and go listen to it.

 

search the 3rd gen archive/important posts.Theres a section labeled exhaust sound clips.Theres one of an apex.Although I honestly think it sounds like *** at wide open throttle.At idle its ok.But at wide open it sounds like an angry bee.So far from what ive heard the hks carbon titanium sounds the best.Its on there as well.And I think the hks is the same price 499.00
