Apex Dual Chamber BOV
I'm not sure if it was my inability to tune, but I noticed that my blow off valve wasn't very loud. Don't get me wrong it did it's job but it just wasn't like others I have heard. Does it have to do with the rotary engine itself or the turbo setup? btw I was non-sequential with dp, mp, catback, intake, and pulley. Do you guys experience the same thing?

However, the Apexi is not as loud as most of the other aftermarket BOV's. If you were looking for a loud BOV, you picked the wrong one.

Should try the HKS SSQV. Makes a loud whistle every time I shift. What everyone else is saying is right the Apex BOV has an easilly adjustable ring on it.
Just wondering how your idle is with that BOV? Mine stumbles on hot days while I'm in traffic, need to give it gas when it gets harsh, otherwise stumbles are tolerable.
Not sure where the apex BOV mounts but if you have the stock intake on and the BOV is near it watch out for rubbing. My intake got so hot that it burned the polished finish.

I got an Apexi BOV last year hoping for a louder sound and it was the same as my vented stock BOV. I was limited to 10 psi at the time running non-seq. Once I start running at 15-16 psi I'm sure it will be loud

However, it doesn't have a mounting flange like the Apexi BOV.

Thanks for all the help guys. I am glad you guys answered my questions without flaming me. Good to know there is decency on forums still. I am not new to the RX-7 but new to this board. I'll be hanging out here a lot more often I have been spending too much time on honda-tech anyways
