Anything to worry about?

57 degree ambient temp during video.

My FD startup smokes differently than my FBs and RX-8. Has an acidic smell to it, but I wouldn't quite call it obvious sweet coolant smell. Might just be lots of condensation from my worn out stock muffler?

Champagne test has few bubbles (possible water pump cavitation) not rpm dependent. No hydrocarbons in the coolant from test. No belching coolant or overheating. No leaks on the ground or heater problems. I feel like I just might be inside my own head with the new car but it just seems like it smokes differently than all my other cars. I guess a brand new FD with an engine issue is my worst nightmare right now and I am giving myself anxiety that my dream car might need work.

Make me worry more or less on your discretion. Go!

It's hard to see in the video, which means it's going to be something minor. Probably just condensation. I wouldn't worry.

I'll watch the video later with sound.

You need to do something about that ratty muffler, though!

Is the video of a cold start or does the exhaust always look like that? Mileage? Major mods?

100% original. Hence the ratty exhaust!

That is a morning start, 6 hours after it last ran. There was more smoke the night prior when it was sitting for 7 weeks.

There is always a slight tinge of something out of the tailpipe, but it is the same as all my other cars just burning their daily regiment of oil I assume.

If it’s been sitting a lot, I’d get some easy miles on it and just keep an eye on temps and coolant levels, especially in the overflow tank. CYM...nice. But yeah, you need a cat back.

How long does it last after cold start up? Continuous? Does happen on hot start?

Probably condensation. If the low coolant light isn't haunting you, it's not a coolant seal.
