you dumbass the brand "NOS" stands for nitrous operating
system. yes i hate people who use NOS as an overall term
for nitrous but considering what NOS stands for it's technically not incorrect to call it that.

Er....not really. NOS is a company. A brand name. That's like calling it Zex or NX.

A small nitrous kit is the perfect compliment to a big turbo like the T-78. Anyone been in a car with this setup knows what I'm talking about.

I've seen a nitrous blew an S2000 engine. The spark plug tip broke and got swallowed in the combustion chamber. So, there goes the block, pistons, and everything else. He needed a complete engine.I've spoken to a few people and they told me that the 'coldness' of the nitrous is no good for the rotary engine even though you can squeeze more power out of it. Anyway, just a thought, I may be wrong.

O and one other thing. to the (Flyinbiya) who posted this.
a "fogger" system is for non turbo cars only. you need a "dry" system.

idiots call it NOS.

ok first off, NOS actually stands for Nitrous Oxide Systems, second off no one really cares what somone calls it, NOS, nitrous, n2o, nitrous oxide, giggle juice, laughing gas, juise, spray, nitro, or whatever other names u can think of. i personally run a 50hp wet shot, with no adverse effects. i recomend having an upgraded fuel pump if your going to use it for anything other then spool up, and dont stay in it for to long. like any other item u add to the rx-7 u need extra fuel, probably a little more so to be safe with N2o. if your running stock injectors i personally wouldnt run a dry setup. at leats with a wet setup u know the right amount of fuel isgetting to the chambers. direct port is the safest and best way to go. as far as large shots over 75hp i dont know how they are on the motors, nor if the super cold N2o has any problems on an rx7. being a different engine alltogether, i dont see why, but who knows. just my .02

I think for your everyday lightly-somewhat heavy modded FD, N20 isn't needed. The twin turbos already spool fast (even in non-seq) and most street FD owners just use boost and tuning to get their power. That's probably why you don't see many FDs or Supras running nitrous - just not needed. In most cases where FD owners are using it is like stated above, to help spool a larger single like a T78 or T88.

Guys i need your help. in a couple of weeks i have to race with a 500hp+100hp nitrous automatic Nissan 300ZX. It started for fun and now it getting ******* serious. The ZX guy is spending money like crazy just to prove that ZX's are better than our FD's. My car is a J-Spec 1999" and has everything needed to run high 11's to flat 12'. I am running a street ported engine, FMIC, fuel pump, aluminum radiator, HKS oil coolers, fully opened exhaust, non sequential turbines, air filters, Power FC, AVC-R etc. Estimated hp is about 400hp at the flywheel. I willl dyno the car next saturday. Now i am thinking of adding a 50-60 shot nitrous, 114 octane fuel, advance my timing through PFC in order to be able to kick his ***.

Any suggestions from you guys??? I don't want to humiliate the 7 for a 300ZX idiot. This race must be won!!!!

lol .. rofl.. this thread is the bomb.

Nos... is gay... all boost no juice.
you can give them honda boys the nos.. cuz they cant afford a set of turbos for those pos piston engines.

btw.. dood.. about that 300Zx Race... you will smoke the pants off him.. gl... and have fun..

while your at it... right before you race.. ( while your rolling ) purge on his ***... that would scare the bejesus outtta him.. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT.. watch out for the passanger side floor pannel comming off...

rofl

For all you that think Nitrous is cheating you can kiss my a$$. I have put in over 10k into my engine, and if you want to say that I am cheating you can f off. I want to maximize the hp output of my car. I think that if you have the nuts to use some huge nitrous system, more power to you. To the orginal thread i am going to a 50 shot dry system that spray's before the ic. With evaporation it will be more like 35. I am going to try a custom dual bottle setup (much like xcessive's car) with one of the bottles setup in a ntercooler system. Hope that gives you some info

panic7, I don't think you have a chance, I mean if he has 600 hp, and you only have 400 (to the flywheel) the weight difference isn't going to compensate for the 200 hp difference. Hopefully you r a good driver.
