Anyone using NEO synthetic trans fluid???

I was wondering if anyone has been using neo synthetic in thier trans? If so have you used anything else like Redline to compare it to? How do you like the NEO and is there a special type of NEO to get?

Also, where did you get it from?

Thanks,
STEPHEN

Your can get NEO products from Baker Precision

www.bakerprecision.com
www.neosyntheticoil.com

My friend (who is a shop owner) filled up my tranny (on my previous 240sx) w/ the stuff, while I was working on something else. I don't know what grade he used, but my tranny "seemed" to be somewhat better.

Also, the guys from Signal Auto as well as JUN USA use NEO oil.

I have NEO in the tranny and the diff and noticed nice improvements in both. Can't compare it to Redline but I know many professional race teams use the same NEO in their gearboxes. I think Xtrac in fact specs it. That's good enough for me.

I just put in some Neo in the trans and rear dif. I noticed some improvement aswell, but I cant compare it to Redline since I have never used it. I bought the car used so I'm not sure what was in it prior, I'm guessing just Mazda stuff. I got mine from Mazdatrix.

I switched from Redline Light Shockproof to the normal NEO HD.

I felt a good difference going from whatever was in there to Redline, but it only felt good for a few months and then went back to the way it was.

Going from the Redling to NEO was a huge difference, tranny felt soooo smooth for about a month then it slowly went back.

A friend used AMSOIL in his GSX and barely noticed a difference.

I think I'm going to try Royal Purple soon and if it does the same thing I might look into a new master cylinder or synchros (they have 110k miles).

Here is a link to a comparison between Redline and Neo (go to the bottom of the page):

Looks like NEO was the winner

I used NEO's 75w90 HD in both the tranny and diff about 5K miles ago. Seems to have smooth out shifting and maybe reduced gear noise a little.

I think I'm going to try thier RHD, which is the racing heavy duty instead of just the heavy duty. I figure if Cart can use it, it's going to work for me lol

Its the same weight but it cost about $8 a qt more...which is basically nothing in the grand scheme on my car lol

I used AMSOIL in trans and diff for about 35,000 mi (installed at 11,000 mi) then switch to NEO (whatever version Mazdatrix suggest - I think 80W90HD?).

NEO made changes to 2nd gear feel smoother, no noticable difference in diff. performance.
