Anyone know where to get rear hatch shocks?
So my rear hatch shocks are dead, done, over, worn out, toast. The hatch actually closes easier than it opens. Checking around these things tend to be costly and from what I've read knock offs don't really work. I've got a touring edition which for some reason makes a difference and now my problem is going to be compounded with the installation of an authentic 99 spec wing coming up. Does anyone have a hook up on these or know where I can get a set that's a little more reasonable in price?

Someone out there has got to have personal experience with some shocks that will hold up the 99 wing. Is no one bringing in the shocks when they bring in the wings?
I'm going to get them at my local dealer. I have a great business relationship with them, and they are more than fair on prices. Even if they weren't, the patronage keeps me in front of them and the net result of loyalty is worth more than the price difference on a hundred gas struts. I'll ask them to look in their computer.
your lucky i keep all my invoices. left strut fd03-63-620a ............right strut fd03-62-620a and B499-62-625 is the stud with a ball end that fits onto the shocks, i mean you may not need them but better to change them out anyways. also ray gives a discount to forum members but also he stocks up on rx7 parts so he most likely has the parts you want/need and ships super quick, so if they dont have it at your dealer, you have another option
Now someone once told me the touring shocks were different from the rest for some reason? Also this idea is put on hold as you might have seen my car doesn't want to start right now.
Bringing back for a question I cannot find an answer to. So mine are somewhat weak, but stay up with no wing. Of course I am adding a gt wing now. Anyone find some struts that lift that big wing, or just go with a stick in the back to hold it up?

I have read that they are quite strong and that you may only need to install on one side. Anyone on here used one of these?
Interesting, was actually looking at the r magic site and they discontinued due to not being able to ship the oil through air. This may be a good alternative if they are able to deliver.
Final Form might still be able to get them, he mentioned about shipping via sea at one point
