All I can say again is Dumpity Dump Dump Dump. Ohhhhhh man these would be frigeen sweet.

But do they come with seat belts? I dunno about the laws in Japan so I'm not too sure. So how much will this run total? Plus I don't see why you can't just throw your groceries or what have you onto that back seats! Sounds like a plan to me!

I've always thought the back seats were pretty cool in the FD. I dont know if I would ever do it though.. Maybe if I had some kids...

Sunnyxwala,

I saw that the ebay auction had ended. Did you get your seats?

I posted on this on another thread - its actaully quite comfy in the back - the seats are very 'bucketed'. Im 6ft tall, my friend is 5ft 11, and he can fit in the back with me in the front passenger seat *just*. Its a squash but OK for a couple of miles.
My Girlfriend easily fits in the back (shes 5ft 7). They do come with full seat belts. Also the Jap spec cars front seats dont go back as far as US cars. They have stoppers in the seat rails to prevent it.

Nope, but one things for sure, you do save more weight removing the bins and using seats. How much weight, no idea. Your guess is as good as mine
