www.jimmys-rx7.co.uk. He gets rear seats from time time and puts them up on Ebay. Just email him and let him know you are interested. He will let you know the next time he gets some rear seats. His name is Andrew ajc@jimmys-rx7.co.uk. Nice guy! I got mine from him, but I think a few other forum members have purchased seats from him in the past. Average selling prices have been between $350 and $500.

...and remember to get not just the seats, but all the trim pieces that are needed for a complete installation. And if you live in a state that has inspections, you may also need rear seat belts to pass.

It's barely possible to fit 2 people in a FD yet there's rear seats?

Thay all go for around that much. The passenger seat has alot of room and I bet I could fit 3 adults in it. I wouldn't dare put someone behind me and I'm only 5'10" , no leg room what so ever.

I want it because I never use my bins but if I had seats I could just throw my cd case or whatever back there and it's easily acessable. It's good for show too.

I was piecing to gether a set of rear seat for my car. Took me awhile to find the lower and back cusions that were mint....but i decided to not put the seats in. I use the bins too much. Anyone interested....it's not a complete set you still need the sides and belts but I'll let mine go pretty cheap since im not using them.

You should make up a cargo net like the Deloreans had, if you just want a place to throw your stuff .. nothing worse than trying to find things under those 3rd gen. seats !

do any of you think this takes away from the "true" sports car-ness of the FD, now that its a 2+2 seater??

ive also heard that this mod gives a nice reduction in weight from removing the bins and everything as well. so it does have somewhat of a "performance" aspect to it.

does anyone know if you do it correctly you can pass it off as a 2+2 to the insurance company. two seaters cost more but 4 seaters dont. would it work?

You could get lost in the bottom of those seats.

Suprfast: I believe it has to orginally be part of the car and included within the VIN.

Gay and pointless? NO! not when my wife has the stationwagon and I have to pick up my 2 boys at school. You should see the other kids wishing they could go for a spin!

My problem isn't seating, it's cargo room. Many a time I find myself comming out of the market and realize I have th FD instead of the SUV. I need those bins to store things.

I do believe it would take a little something away from being just a 2 seater and a true sports car but that doesn't bother me.

Unless you are gay and never get married or have children, you would not understand. Whether it has 2 or 4 seats does not change the real part of the sports car. There is nothing like taking the family out for a spin.
