^thats a rotary run hood, the car looked alot better when it was all red instead of that ridiculous camo paint job.. Anywas that first car belongs to Les Wong, heres an article to it:
http://www.jtuned.com/content/templa...d=244&zoneid=1
If you browse that site, the second pic of rotaryxecret 7 is on their too.

I like the headlight treatment on the first one. Is that off the shelf or custom?

rotary run racing, they are out of business and you wont find them, anywhere. I believe chuck is selling the very last set though, not sure if he still has them. Here they are on my car. They are the biggest PITA's to fit, over 30 hours of me cutting the frame, mounting the headlights, cutting the bumper, adjusting etc etc.

Spooln7 and Quickfini answered your questions already. The red one is owned by Les Wong (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...endid=13096146)

and the blue one is owned by Tony Yeh of Rotary Xecret 7, which is now closed.

No problem,

www.rotaryextreme.com and get out your 7100$ and add shipping and 4700$ if you want everything around back.

every now and then i see the fake version that kit, front and rear separately on ebay for around $1k each. comes w/ lights and everything.

don't know about fitment, but ofcourse if you get the authentic RE Amemiya kit, the craftsmanship and fitment will sure to be perfect. Authentic kits are always pricy, TRD kit for supra is $10,000 w/out paint and install. Sure you can buy a few used FD, FC, S13, SW20 with that money, but its what you want to do with the car, not its equivelent value after you fix it up.

Is Laubs the orange and green and tons of CF one that has a bunch of garbage stereo and lights bolted onto every possible nook and cranny? All out show cars are a waste of a good RX7... I'm also not a big fan of Tom Ngo's air rided rediculously vinyled FD either. I like car shows, and enter them, and build my cars to look nice, but I don't understand 1. why you need a bunch of lights and stereo garbage to win and 2. why anyone would ruin the potential of their car and make it nearly undrivable to win these stupid shows.
