anyone know about circuts?heater/defrost/temperatur controls (logicon?)

i have a 93 rx7 and im having trouble with the heater and defrost working. i cant change from floor to defrost, to straight on (stays on straight) and the temperature controls dont work, so basically have no heater. i took the controls and everything out of the dash and i found a chipboard....says Naldec 40701-501-42c on the top. has 2 black pin conectors on one side and 2 white pin connectors on the other side. im thinking it might be called a logicon but im not certain on that. anyways i hope somone knows what im talking about. i found a burn resistor on the board and i want to change it out, as i believe thats the problem, but its kinda brown now and hard to see the colors. the resistor location is R41 close to the center of the board and close to the biggest capasitor. if anyone has an oppertunity to find a diagram.....or look on their own chip, and find out what value the resistor is for position R41 and how many bands it is etc that would be so awesome.
