Anyone interested in Chrome radiator pipes?

I just sent off to have some made for my car and have the silicone hose pieces lined up also with clamps. If anyone would be interested in having these let me know and I can put something together. The price would be somewhere around $150-170. Maybe lower but not higher, it depends on interest. I would make them for stock placement of the radiator and upright position as well.

I haven't gotten any permission for a group buy or anything.....just seeing if anyone would want chrome radiator pipes instead of silicone or stock.

Thanks....Elliott

I've got a couple of pics of what they will look like. I'll post them up as soon as I get a chance. They will have the TF pieces to clamp on to and have t-bolt clamps as well.

Radiator pipes..

hmmm, what about some steel braided pipes? I have seen those on some other cars and they look real nice. Im sure chrome would look quite appealing also. I have the Fluidyne radiator, would your chrome pipes fit on that? If so im down for some chrome pipes =). Hopefully the pics will do them justice.

I think that you guys forgot that Chrome retains a LOT of heat!

I wouldn't do it.

Flybye is right... chrome doesn't dissipate heat very well, the chrome actually helps keep it in... Now polished aluminum might be different...

I have the same pipes on my Mustang and also on alot of my friends Supras and they have had NO problems whatsoever. I've had mine on for 3yrs now with not a single blemish or anything ....even on the inside. There won't be a problem with these any more so than the silicone ones.

Yes I will make them for the upright radiator....I have the Fluidyne also.

They will look really cool. I will try and put pics up later today

When I said chrome....I really meant the chrome or polished look. I'll get the exact specs later today with the metal and polishing. I should've been more specific....I thought people would be able to get a visual better that way
