i was wondering if any of you would be interested in a group buy for a carbon fiber mazdaspeed replica hood. at the moment talked the distributor down around 550-575. he wanted 650 but i told him that there were people interested in buying my hood when i was selling mine.

I've seen that this hood and others have vents in such a position that if any amount of water were to hit the higher part of the hood (towards the windshield) it would roll right into the engine bay.

Am I not correct??

If this is the case, is the assumption here that you are not supposed to drive your car in the rain with a hood like this??
