Anyone increase their re-limiter past the stock settings?

Just curious if anyone has bumped it up to 9k~ without any ill-effects.

and ur reasons (i.e. - running shorter R&P, etc....)

Why? If you are stock/mostly stock you dont even need to shift much past 7k, why would you stress your motor going to 9k for no real reason?

If you are talking to the single turbo/large port crowd, then you can safely assume they've got aftermarket ECU's in which have no real rev limit.

Come'on batman!

Stock I noticed that there was no reason to shift much above 7k, but now that I have dp, high flow, RB cat back, Pettit intake, and PowerFC the car pulls harder and harder pask 8k. I raised my rev limit to 8200 and power still isnt dropping off at that point. I bet I could go even higher but I dont know what a stock motor will handle, I may go up to 8300 or 8400 but that is probably it.
