anyone have success installing a Used AC Compressor ??

I know they can go bad after sitting around. Anyone here have any success running one that HAS been sitting out for a while ? I see many used ones on this forum for around $100. Is it worth it or a waste of $$ ?? Thanks.

put in new oil and a new dryer before pulling vacuum on the system to re charge I hope you get a good pump
