You bought the white front end off ebay?

There is a complete RHD car for sale in the Bay Area right now. I also think there was one for sale on the east coast.

I was interested in it but I'm too deep in project cars. People are paying $1800 for 99 bumper conversions and $2K for 99+ turbos. Figure you get the trans, motor, big front brakes, 99+ fans, Efini y-pipe and all the body panels.

Not really that bad of price...

Front clips don't cost as much as he was selling that thing for.

yeah i bought that clip from ebay, but i payed way less for it ($5000)... it was pretty clean, only had 20k miles on it, came with big brakes, bilstien shocks, abs brain, nardi steeing wheel with air bag, really clean dash, entire black carpet, and even got the jdm doors, complete. its at the body shop now, i stripped the whole car and the clip, and theyre joing the two pieces. The motor is already apart, and im almost done porting it, i already have an hks exhaust, and ill make an intake for it when i start putting this thing back together

the car will be as strong as a stock unmodified car, i had them drill out all the stock spot welds, so when it goes back together, it will be just like factory. it will be registerd as a 94, and it will have a salvage title, the 94 was hit in the front end, i dident want to cut up a clean fd, so i used a crashed car.

Okay let me get this straight...

Trying to register a full JDM RX-7 isn't possible and illegal without the required crash test results etc.

However, welding on a JDM front clip to a domestic frame and essentially turning it into a JDM RX-7 isn't illegal and completely easy to register as the same?

Woa..
