If you plan on getting this bar I suggest going to the hardware store and buy two high grade studs with the correct pitch for the bar's threads to screw on permanently (like stock) and use two nuts with a lock-washer for the ends. I suspect the bolts RB provided weren't the right ones but probably close. Other than that it's a good bar for street use.

Btw, I'm about to install the HKS purple bars this weekend, anybody know if it could be stiffer than the RB even though it's hollow and smaller in diameter because of the type of metal used?? I guess I'll find out after I take it for a spin...
Sounds like you crossthreaded the bolt. I just installed the same bar and the bolts went in very nicely and smoothly.

Perhaps the bolt or the tapping in the front bar were bad?

I think it was the the bolts they provided...it was the same for both ends. Anyway, I have the HKS front bar on right now and it's awesome. I found out the RB bar is a little too stiff for my set-up right now...

I had the same problem with the threads going bad on my RB front bar. I probably cross threaded it also but who knows. I got is fixed at a machine shop and it has been fine since. I make a point of always removing the bar by detaching the endlink from the lower control arm rather than the swaybar end. Much easier to put back on correctly.

I tried the RB Springs for about a month but they were too low for me and I scraped all the time.
