anyone have info on this intercooler?

i keep seeing these pop up. the price is attractive, but it appears to be a stock core with aluminum end tanks welded on. anyone using or know of these things?

Hardly looks worth the money to me, a couple of hundred more is getting you a used PFS/Greddy/Pettit that will be much better.

I believe its the MazdaComp smic....I would just skip it and do like Rynberg suggested
