"Twinturboteddy" (w/ the CYM) has that IC. Do a search with his screen name or PM him for more info. IIRC it has an A'PEXi core.

I used to have this intercooler on my last FD, this is the same type of intercooler design that was employed in Adam Saruwatari's first FMIC, the only design flaw that I found with this intercooler was that the seams of the brackets that were welded to the endtanks would seperate due to the body flexing of the car(since you eliminate a reinforcement on the radiator support and the intercooler actually becomes the support instead), this was resolved by rewelding it with a stronger weld than how it came.

I am currently running the XS engineering version, which is basically the same thing. I liked the fact that it didn't require moving anything in the engine bay, its size, very simple IC piping, and that not many are using it. However, the installation was a PITA in my opinion, with having to remove the metal reinforcement bar. I also had some fitment issues with the cold-side pipes lining up and body flex (suspected cause) which as a result, the pipe going into the cold-side end tank had to be re-welded and the IC pipe trimmed down a bit (happened a couple weeks ago).

I think if I were to do it again, I would go with a Greddy 2 row and call it a day.

Edit: sumbitch, RX794 stated the same thing that happened to me.

Here is what it looks like on the car.

I want to get this intercooler because I think that it is easy for the installation(no need to relocated the radiator, battery.........) and save money for labour.

But, it seems that it still a lot of work to install it, right?

So, is it worth to buy it??

I'll sell you my GReddy for a low, low price of $3,000, it's pretty easy to install. I'll even install it for you!
