Anyone Have Experience with RSR Exhaust?

I was browsing through rx7store.net and came accross this rsr exhaust. http://66.216.67.51/product.asp?3=773

It looked interesting and the price is not that bad. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

Don't really know anything about the cat-back shown, but my Racing Beat cat-back is an RS*R private labeled for RB. It's been a fine piece, quieter than many, and flows very nicely.

ive heard really good reviews for the RSR catback, but have no experience with it first hand. It is on my list of considerations to replace my HUGE GReddy PE exhaust

Anyone got sound/video clips of the RSR?

I was actually looking for something HUGE. I saw an FD about 4 years ago (when fds were totally out of my range) and it had this muffler that looked beautiful but it was so big you could see the lower end of it from the sideview of the car. I have been looking but an find no humongous muffler like that one. Anyone know what it is?

heres a pic of my Greddy PE....keep in mind that CWEST skirt comes down a LOT further than the stock bumper, so w/o it the can would be in FULL view.

haha, the GReddy Power Extreme is no longer made. They replaced it with the EVO, which is on rx7store.net. I absolutely LOVE the deep tone it gives out

I have seen quite a few Super Dragger Exhausts on http://www.thepartstrader.com It looks the same as the PE. Huge muffler. They don't call it super "dragger" for no reason.

So no one knows something more for the RSR?
no more clear pics to see it?
no audio files to hear it?
i was interested in it too
expecially because i want something that looks similar to stock and is not too big (cops don't like water-drain-pipe-like mufflers)

The Apexi GT spec catback is actually a little larger than the Greddy PE and same style. It comes out a little angled to the side of the car though.

doncojones, that is the EXmag series...not the high performance GT2.

heres a link http://www.rs-r.com/gt2/rx7_rear.jpg

i like the RSR because it doesnt hang nearly as low as my PE, but id really like to hear some sound clips/testimonials on it

check it out.....

I've had the RS-R GT2 for a few months now and love it. Gives a nice deep tone, and it's not obnoxious or annoying. It looks great and comes out at a slight angle. Sorry, I don't have a sound clip, just a pic. check the thread.

Well that's what I get for not clicking the link. Most people go with RS*R specifically to get the Exmag because it's nice and quiet but I guess all that talk of wanting a big freakin exhaust should have pointed me towards the GT2.

I find that when talking about exhausts there are essentially two camps: loud exhaust people and anti-loud exhaust people. Loud exhaust people love the sound of canister style mufflers and describe their sound as deep--for whatever reason they do not perceive them to be loud. Anti-loud exhaust people find canister style mufflers to be loud, regardless of whether or not they are deep.

Since I am an anti-loud exhaust person, when someone describes an exhaust as "deep" that is a red flag that tells me they're a loud exhaust person. Of course I wouldn't expect a canister style exhaust to be anything but loud since I'm an anti-loud exhaust person.

I'm almost posivite the HKS Super Dragger is as big as it gets...I have yet to see or hear of another exhaust of its size or larger... (the Greddy PE looks right about the same size as the HKS)
