Question Anyone have experience installing an HKS CAMP (not CAMP2) into an RX7?

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.ph...70#post9561870

Posting this here since questions are more readily seen in this forum.

At the least, after searching through every thread with HKS CAMP as subject, perhaps effort will more fill this information void.

Thanks in advance.

I got to the following part of the user manual and decided that this product was not for me:

With this function you can raise tropical fishes in a virtual aquarium. The environment of the aquarium changes
by your driving habits, and also affects the growth and life of the fishes.
The grown up fishes may sometimes perform some kind of action after the reach music. The probability of
performing an action will increase in super reach. To be on the safe side, these actions will only take place when
you are at a complete stop and at the same time it may contribute to the driver's stress relief. A secret command
might exist... In this virtual aquarium, there is a limit on how many fishes you can have in the tank. If all the
fishes reach the final stage, the ending screen will come up. The fishes won't die even if the temp goes up or the
tank runs out of air anytime after the ending. But, the fishes might die when the water gets dirty.

The CAMP is all about the virtual guages (Boost, EGT, Low Temp, etc), not so much about the fish. Although, it is kind of a kookie fun thing to entertain yourself with on solo long drive like to Vegas. FYI, the "water getting dirty" is not changing your oil when scheduled.

Anyway, I got the rest of the information I needed for setting the CAMP up and posted in my primary thread in Interior/Exterior/Audio for anyones future reference via the search engine.

PLX has a similar product (though with no fish I think ). There have been a few threads here about PLX stuff.
