Damn I justed noticed this post cause I always look in the group buy section and this wasnt there.

Any chance of me getting in on this at all?

Damn a day late and a dollar short. Anyone else want to get another one started? A quick hitter GB?

I will do the leg work if there is enough interest.

Mike

Manufacturing is ahead of schedule and you guys may be receiving your bars before I am even notified they have been shipped. I'll try to find out more info. Don't forget they are shipped freight collect. Contact me if you need to pay shipping ahead of time.

You're a Kirk Cage dealer...seriously? I like the idea of a 6-point cage, but would want it welded in. Can't decide between 1.75 or 2 OD. Probably need padding since I still drive the car on the street. Is there a pic of the 6-point installed in an FD?

I suggest the 1.75 OD. I have the 2" and with the padding, it is really thick. Had to do alot of adjusting of the pad to prevent it from rubbing on the roof liner and really annoying me!

yeah I always suggest the 1.75" the 2" is just TOO thick. I am working on a group buy with torque central for some 6 pt's possibly. For a street driven car you might want removable side supports. I am going to call and get some availability info today.

COsborne, if some of the guys on the group buy that are behind me in the build schedule need there's soon, I don't mind if you push me back. I'm not going to need mine until June at the earliest.

If I can get the exact shipping ammount before delivery that'd be good, and what methods of payment are ok, because of losing my job its now being shipped to a friend's work and i dont want him to have to come up with money to pay for my stuff.

All shipping arrangements are being handled by kirk racing. Call 205-608-1156 . No sense in me being a middle man. It just increases the odds of a misunderstanding.

I've been swamped man. I'm gonna try to get something started before I go on vacation friday. I've signed up for the site and done some research into it. I'm in the same boat as all of you as far as wanting a roll bar but with removable 5th and 6th points. I don't know that they will make it and Im not even completely sure its legal for use at nhra events. I think the reason they want to differentiate between the 4 pt roll bar and 4 pt cage is the mounting points. We'll have to see.
