anyone done a sound decible test between midpipe & hi-flo cat?

I would prefer to go with a mid pipe for obvious reasons, but how loud are they? and yes, there is such thing as too loud

and yes, I did a search, and I couldn't find this info anywhere....

If being too loud is a concern, you can alway go with a resonated mid-pipe and use something like a Racing Beat Dual Tip catback.

However, I've not seen a comparison like that myself.

i have the pettit resonated mp and just switched to the rb dual...the car sounds great..get a mp...trust me. Before i had the apex n1 dual..too loud

Sure, the RB catback will flow better than the stock one.

If you don't have to worry about emission testing, get a resonated midpipe. I'm sure you'd be happy with that kind of setup.
