anyone done the PFS intake/IC isntall?
ok, I am about 20 hours, and 5 or 6 trips to the store into this install, and I pretty lost. drop in IC my ***....
I can't seem to get the cold air box & IC to fit with each other well, or with the manifold & y-pipe...
any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have searched here a TON for this, and looked at the instructions on the PFS website.

Try it in this order:
1. Put intake in. (i assume you got this far?) Actuall i had alot of trouble with mine the first time.
2. Make sure crossover pipe is OFF.
3. Put IC duct in place and wiggle a bit to get the silicon coupler between it and the intake connected. I reach through the duct and into the tube to help feed the coupler over.
4. insert pipe on drivers-side of IC into silicon coupler on elbo to throttle body. Rotate IC in to place. The "U" shaped bracket on bottom of IC should sit on crossmember.) be sure not to crimp or squash and hoses to the AST. Its a little tough, be patient
5. Stuff a rag in gap behind the IC/intake couper (if you drop the bolt the attached the duct to IC, this will keep it from dropping into the rad.) I use a very nice angled, ratched box wrench from sears on this bolt (i'd like to kill the guy who put it there. Bolt it on, and do the other side. Leave a little loose until after all hoses are fitted.
6. Insert crossover pipe into silicon coupler on pass. side of IC, rotate down and insert into coupler on top of y-pipe. Futz with everything to get as lined up as possible. Crank clamps down. Now put two bolts that hold crossover pipe down on.
Hope this helps. Its a pain the first time but easy after that. Is there a more specific fit/or step i could help you with?? Don't be aftraid to man-handle thing a bit to get them in.

ptrhahn - thanks
the main problem came from fitting the IC to the intake tray, and then getting the IC pipes to the throttle body & intake... I took off the Y-Pipe & IC elbow and things are going now... tight but doable...
my problem now is going to be fitting the pipes coming into the airbox. I think I am missing a 90 degree angle pipe... I think I found a place close to home to have them fabricated.... hopefully I will have everything up & running soon... while it is apart I am going to do a pully install, & maybe metal IC piping
