maybe this is a dumb question, but is the Japan Power FC in English?

 

It is in english yes. I got mine in 2 days from Japan to Canada. Said it was shipped on that Monday morning and I had a slip in my mailbox when I went home for lunch that Wednesday. Figure that. I cant get anything out of the US in under a week.

 

Mine came in japanese, i change the language with the comander

All PowerFC's are in English, period. The only part that's in Japanese is one settings menu, and it's just the "enable/disable" answers that are in Japanese. Easy to figure out.

As far as I can tell, there are NO differences between Japanese and US PowerFC's. The manual is easily and freely available online.

After my interior conversion, next purchase for the FD is def ebay PFC. lol

 

Ebay Japanese PFC here for about 3 yrs with no problems. I had a commander too, but it was stolen so I replaced it with an FC-Datalogit.

 

Be sure to PM Dai Oni for a price before you buy from ebay. He got me mine and it was the cheapest price I could see anywhere including on ebay.

I just pulled the trigger on this. Looking forward to getting rid of that 3K hesitation and finally being able to get an exhaust

 

I just got my PFC today, amazing service. Hooked it up, car runs great. Came with the base map which looks to be good on my car. I didn't cut any wires and she runs smooth as hell.

 

But dont you have to modify the wiring or pins if you purchase a jap PFC??

Just making sure so i wont be surprised when i buy mine.

 

I did nothing. Just plugged it in, started it up and let her idle for about 15 minutes, then shut down. After about 20 minutes I took it out for a drive and eased into max boost (to make sure it was actually the stock map - didn't look at the map yet) and it ran great.

I bought off ebay the 17th, they shipped it the 18th, i got it today. That's service.
