Anyone bought an FD from this place?

www.cleanandfast.com

I see a lot of adds for FD's on autotrader from them, alot with 'build to suit' listed. Anyone have any experience with them?

I'm off...gotta get up early to go pick up an XKE engine for my dads E-type tommorrow

Try EEE motors in Arligton Va. It's a used lot but they usally have 2 or 3 on their lot. Make sure you have it looked at by me or someone that knows how to inspect them before you purchase. I usally stop by and haggle prices with them for fun. Because they don't know **** about them. I don't even want to buy another Fd right now.

Thanks, I'll look them up I work up north so it's not to big a deal to swing outthat way after work. I was curious about this place because it looked like an RX7 shop only.

I got mine from Jerry at Clean and fast. Let Ryan and fd3boost tell you how much they like it. PM them. I'm happy. It's a screamer. Prices are pretty good too. Tell him Andrew sent you. His street port motors are excellent!

Andrews car runs great. The looks are a little beat. The car isn't super clean. But it's strong.

Thanks for the replies guys. I kept seeing ads for them and wanted to know if they were reputable. If I can't find a decent car from a private seller, I may go there.

maxpesce - My dad only paid $19K for his E-Type 6 years ago, course he's sunk about 8K into it since then on restoring it...

Oh, and people, don't try to lift an XK head by yourself if you already have a bad back...it doesn't help much.
