Anybody removed the coolant line outlet on the rear iron & threaded it for -AN?
I moved the motor back about 6.5” for my 20b project. In the new location there is not enough room between the stock heater core outlet on the driver side of the rear iron and the trans tunnel to connect a line. The easiest solution would be to remove the stock pipe and thread the hole in the housing to accept a low profile -AN 90 deg fitting. Has anybody done this? The last thing I want to do is experiment on this motor.

I thread the holes and put a pipe plug with sealer in them , Needless to say I also remove the hotwax rod and the cam .The nipple on the back of the water pump house ,I have them welded up. I have also pluged the irons and brazed over the hole if the motor is apart . Tap the hole but not to deep put sealer on the plug and thread it in deep. 3/8 is what I have used and no one has called back with a leak .I use the plugs with an allen head drive, not the square head , they are ugly .
