Arrow there were some updates

Captn Bill and ArtGuy both have them.

I "allegedly" drag raced ArtGuy and it pulls instantly off the line! ...it even punches hard on the highway!

I'm not sure if I will "allegedly" race him after he cranks to 18 pr 20 lbs!

lol

goracers car looks ten times better than mine though.

anyhow...i am putting the bung on the downpipe on saturday..hopefully will dyno next week if all goes well.

Im very happy with the set...they pull strong and immediate...I lost a lot of low end with the streetport a while back and the m2 set really put me back where i wanted to be...low end torque returned and still enjoying the highway benefits of the streetport. the combination is nice...trust me on that...goracer does.

captn bill is not yet running the mods to boost those turbos to their potential.

he says he is happy with the performance though.

I remember seeing a dyno run of captbill's M2s but he was having problems above 6K or something like that - I think it was like 275 rwhp - but I'm sure they can crank out 380-400 rwhp at high boost settings with a streetport and bolt-ons. Still waiting for that dyno jason..........

yep, ivan had some problems with the HP. he noticed good low end torque, but HP in the top end seemed to suffer.

then again he had the archtype BB turbo.

Yep, this is what I have said for a couple of years now after seeing multiple dyno runs with modified twins (even owned a set of Japanese hybrid race twins) the manifold is the funnel that limits the potential of highly modified twins. At lower boost levels they make more hp but peak is the same. I hope the the ones from BNR work out and produce good hp especially for Jason (artguy) he has had a rough time lately.

thanks...yeah..i hope the m2 set works out....its barry kwik rx7 who is picking up the bnr set...hes been having a rough time too.

my times for the past month have been smooth sailing..ive been enjoying the car...havent lost on the freeway yet!

the power gains are throughout the power band it seems...especially down low and through the middle...honestly...that is exactly what i wanted...vroom vroom.

there is no way i have less power anywhere in the power band...m2 did a good job.

i dont know what was wrong with that archtype set your friend had batman...and ps..you never did return my pm with those questions..hehehe...

fan mail nothing...you sent me a pm claiming that Id not get any gains in top hp from the bb set.

i asked how would turbos that flow much more than the stock set...with much larger wheels (.59 vs .50) and faster spooling bearings possibly get less power unless there was something wrong with your friends car or turbos?

more flow...more hp...and more torque

faster spool equals more hp and torque down low

am i right?

your pals car was brokey brokey.

yeah, ur logic makes perfect sense to me so i was scratching my head and we both figured that there was some other tuning that he must have overlooked.

ECU must be most of it.
