Thumbs up

I still need more tuning and then I'm hitting the dyno. Because of impending deployment I don't know if it's gonna happen anytime soon.

A few things I can tell you:

For around town driving, they spool so damn quick they seem like they're sequential (I'm running parallel).

My intake temps have dropped about 10-15 Degrees C (on the commander) across the board.

I break the tires loose in first and second as soon as I hit over 1.0 boost every time without fail. I'm running 265mm width Potenza S03s on 10 inch wide Fikses, so you know I have a decent contact patch of sticky rubber.

I have full boost before 4k rpms, maybe 3800 or so. from 3k to 3800 I have enough boost to make the car perfectly streetable. I want to say ~5-7 psi at 3k, ~10 psi at 3300 and ~12psi at 3500, with full boost ~16 psi by 3800. This is temp and gear dependent, but you get the idea.

Parallel Stage 3s kick ***--the power is linear and seamless. From ~3800 to 8000 they pull and pull. I was an advocate of sequential, as my system always worked without a hitch. But my 7 is much faster and more enjoyable to drive because my boost is more predictable--I always got less boost on my first turbo and the spiking at transition always bothered me.

Any other questions shoot 'em my way

Negative. Wasted some 750cc sport bikes, and a modded SS. Oh, I handliy beat Andi Baritchi's Single Turbo Supra when both of us were running 14psi. When he cranked it up to 18 and I was at 16 he got me by half a car from 45-150. He has some badass single setup--maybe steve will chime in with the details. I know he dynoed at 680 rwhp at 30 psi on race gas and 520 rwhp at 18 psi on pump. You're not doing too bad when you're hanging with a 520 rwhp Supra on upgraded twins

The small matter of deploying to war and working 18 hour days is cutting into my available street races. Sorry guys . Hell, I'm *still* at work right now and it's 2000 hrs--it's off to 4th Infantry Division Headquarters I go for a few more hours of coordination....

I plan on getting the stage 3's myself. How recently has your sig been updated? I'm looking to put down 400rwhp when I'm done. Can you PM me with your mods?

Thanks Rich,

and be careful during your deployment.

I met up with ya at your house that one time with my basically stock 94 MB PEP...Do you remember me?

Thanks anyway...just polling as I might want to put some money down on the BNR's before I have enough appriopriate upgrades.......

Hey Rich, not bad staying with a single turbo Supra when he's running more boost than you. Once you're tuned, you can turn up the boost to 18-19 psi on those babies. I know Stephen was running 18 psi when he pulled the 125 mph traps. Hopefully Dave has figured out my rwhp problem - I sent him out a used differential this week. I'll be running the Stage 2s sequentially at 16 psi so it will be interesting to see when I have full boost by. Hope you get to have some more fun with the FD before being deployed.

If he was making 520 rwhp that means you were making around 400 rwhp. (Power to weight).

but power to drag is much more important in the second half of their race (100-150). Same reason cars with less hp/weight can pull bikes on the top end. I'd say he's closer to 430!

I'm replacing this cast manifold with a tubular header next week..... stay tuned....

You still in town or did you get USPS'd out to the war zone already? :-/ Hope you're still here... if not, see you when you get back.... and thank you for defending us.

Bikes have much lower hp numbers and as the speed increased the drag crushes them.. ..They also started at a lower speed and if that was the case rich would have pulled the supra down low..Watch the dyno numbers when they come out..
