did it work? anyone else get theirs in. At 855 shipped for a brand new PFC, I think this is worth bringing up again.

Make sure it's the appropriate PowerFC. There's been a few PowerFC's that are only for the '96+ cars in Japan - won't work on our cars.

I think part of the deal with the price is Apexi is doing a deal where you get a free commander with the PFC.

My first Power FC from rx7.com (an Apexi authorized dealer) was defective. Took a couple of months to get a replacement since it had to be returned to Apexi for inspection and they take their sweet time.

I don't how common this is but if you can afford to eat the money and want to gamble, go for it. Ask the seller their warranty policy and get it in writing (even in writing it still means very little). An extra $125 is worth the piece of mind IMO.

you fool, the difference is more like $500. do the math. 980 for the ecu and another 350 for the commander if you buy from rx7.com. go ahead and pay 1400 for your power fc setup. then when you need to sell it, expect to get half that.

Wow - you are such a tough guy! Would you have the courage to be that obnoxious in person?

everyone talks **** on the net, how many would do it in person honestly? Most of the guys who talk **** on here are 16, and weigh a buck twenty soaking wet and don't even own an rx7 let alone know anything about them. Don't take anything to heart on here man, especially some of the idiot advice that's posted.
