Any place to borrow specialized hand tools?
Right now I'm looking for a Helicoil tap set in M6 size. I just need to fix a stripped hole.
If the price is right, I'd buy used, but I really don't know where to look. Or if someone has one they could mail me / I'll mail back I'll 'rent' too.
Anywhere on the Internet that's good for stuff like this? Ebay seemed thin when I searched. What do you guys do about tools that are nice to have but maybe too expensive to buy?

I know that Auto Zone auto parts stores here in Texas have a tool loaner program that I have used for spring compressors and other specialty tools. You leave a deposit, take the tool for as long as you need it, and they completely refund you (even the tax!) when you return the tool.
I don't know if they'd have what you are looking for, but I'd check around with some of your local auto parts stores and inquire about a tool loaner program.
