I built my own a couple years ago, similar to the coolingmist that is available. One problem I just ran into was after I relocated my air temp sensor I get alot of bogging on high boost with the water spraying. I think the sensor may now be directly hit with water and cools down too much. The lower temps prompt the ECU to add more fuel which I didnt really need. Just my theory, havent verifyed yet.

Did you have any specific questions about water injection? Or what kit even you are talking about?

Tom,

I had this problem before on my original system. I found it directly related to having too much water.

I found the solution is to raise the boost in which it comes on or get a smaller nozzle.

I didnt have this problem before the relocation of the temp sensor that is the thing that confuses me. I have been meaning to try a smaller mister though, that is a project for some day coming up.

hi dont mean to hijack your thread, but ive heard w/c is important when tuning rotaries to high levels because of their heat problems. but how do they work basically, and when would you NEED to install watercooling(as in what stage of a high power upgrade)
