Any Ideas on my prolem?

Ok, Car has sat over night...I get in and when I sit down I hear what sounds like a squeeky rocking chair...very noticeable. When I pull out the sound gets louder, specially when making low speed turns and getting out of my driveway.

After about 30 minutes the sound goes away. After the car sits for a while it comes back. The more cold the car is the louder that sound.

Any ideas? Thanks.

It's your shocks. My rears are doing the same thing. Time for some Koni Sports.

Yep, the clunking is all those suspension bushings. They cost a lot of money to replace, even if you can do them all yourself. It's worth it all in the end, as the car will drive much nicer and the handling will be more predictable.

Yep, after the auto-x Sunday (you should have been there David), my rear shocks are really toast now.

My car is actually pretty tight, I have had most of the bushings already replaced and steering is tight. My mechanic just told me that he thinks its one of my bushings, a metal on metal sound. (he heard it when it was in for service last week).

always something.
