Question two quick Qs concerning Apexi Power Intake

Hi,

i just got an Apexi Dual power intake from a friend, but without any documentation.

First Qustion:
I got two restrictor thingies, as far as i know one is for the air pump rubber hose, so that the pump cant suck too much air. but for what is the other restrictor?

2nd:
I received a lillte, approx. 4 inch long metal tube with the intake. it looks like it's used to connect two hoses with each other. is this needed? or is it something special from my buddy? (he had custom metal intake pipes)

Thanks, Chris

I didn't put that thing in my hose, If it's what I had it's about a 1" long with a 1/4" hole drilled in it and it's aluminuim. That metal tube sounds custom to me I didn't have that when I got mine.

I had these intakes and bought them new...mine only came with one restrictor for the AP...Never got any metal pipe with it either...

Here's a photo of it after it was installed.
